Power Factor Correction

Power Factor Correction (PFC) is key to optimising an electrical system. With the potential to reduce energy costs, stabilise voltages and increase system capacity, PFC systems can provide reliable electrical infrastructure to a variety of site environments.

Efficient and timely power response

We’re well-versed in meeting the energy needs of our customers and are committed to delivering supporting devices and equipment that ensure power quality.

Our range of power factor correction solutions provide timely and effective response to issues in the electrical system, increasing the efficiency of the power supply. We have Hybrid Active Power Factor Correction systems and static VAR generators for dynamic and real-time compensation, harmonic filters and reactors for reduced overheating and nuisance tripping, and STATCOMs (Static Synchronous Compensators) for controlling power flow and improving electrical stability.

We’re trusted by our customers to competently mitigate power issues, ensuring optimal supply across any environment.

HAPFC

Our Hybrid Active Power Factor Correction System is a high performance power quality solution that provides an effective response to identified power quality issues.

HARMONIC FILTERS AND REACTORS

We offer a series of energy saving devices that reduce equipment overheating and tripping of circuit breakers and fuses, ultimately improving power quality.

STATIC VAR GENERATORS

Our Active Power Factor Correction (APFC) systems provide an instantaneous response to power quality problems in electric power systems.

STATIC COMPENSATORS

STATCOM and SVC use power electronics for regulating voltage, power factor, harmonics and stabilising voltage of medium and high voltage systems. They are called "static" as they have no moving parts (other than internal switchgear).
