Contacted by long standing customer GCPL, Ampcontrol supplied a 10 drive AUK5000 (AW2000) Power Centre to the PVK-5 coal mine in India. Additional equipment also included a 4 drive AUK1000 550V Motor Starter and onsite support including surface commissioning and training with Ampcontrol’s Indian Service Engineering team.

11kV 1000V Development Substations

Ampcontrol’s Development Substations can include up to 10 outlets and are offered in both flameproof and ingress protected (IP66) enclosures, built to customer specifications. Ampcontrol design and manufacture a range of underground substations up to 7.5MVA and customises each to meet the applications required. Development Substations are typically 11kV/1000V, up to 2.5MVA and have been manufactured in either flameproof and ingress protected (IP66) variations.

1000V Distribution Control Board (DCB)

Ampcontrol designs and manufactures a range of 1000V DCBs to suit mining applications such as underground development systems. Ampcontrol’s 1000V DCB product range includes up to 12 outlets and can be offered in either flameproof or IP rated enclosures, built to customer specifications.
