The GG2 Display consists of a certified GG2 Display Module and associated wiring installed within an IP66 rated stainless steel enclosure. This document details the Modus and iMAC communication protocols.
The iMAC EMM Module is an Intrinsically Safe Relay output module for the iMAC System. The iMAC EMM monitors the unique ‘Signal Line Healthy’ signal from the iMAC EOL (End of Line) Module to provide an alternative control relay (CR) output for the iMAC System.
The iMAC GRM Module is an Intrinsically Safe General Relay output module for the iMAC System. The module responds to iMAC Address 0 data and can be configured to operate off any bit (0-7) via a rotary switch located under the front fascia. There are three GRM variants to suit 24VDC, 110VAC, or 240VAC power supplies.

The iMAC RTD1 Module is an Intrinsically Safe temperature input module. The RTD1 provides a single channel RTD PT100 sensor input for monitoring temperature. The Module is powered directly from the iMAC L1 Fieldbus communication line.

The iMAC DO4 module is an Intrinsically Safe (Ex ia I Ma) Digital Output module that provides four (4) general purpose relay outputs.
The relay outputs can be operated directly from the iMAC controller or by programming an input module such as a DI4 module to the same address as the DO4 module, in which case each relay output will respond to the respective input of the DI4 input module. Multiple DO4 modules can be programmed to the same address, allowing distributed simultaneous control in multiple locations.
The Electrochemical (EC) CO and O2 models of the GG2 Detector are intrinsically safe sensors for monitoring the atmospheric concentration of Carbon Monoxide (CO) or Oxygen (O2) gas. The stainless steel housing is robust, corrosion resistant and fit for purpose. Power and communications is facilitated through the low profile connector, allowing for quick plug and play connections to compatible models, such as the GG2 Display.
