Fermlec Allenwest Wallacetown is now known as Ampcontrol Africa (Pty) Ltd.
In May 2008, the Ampcontrol Group, through its Member Company Allenwest Wallacetown, acquired the majority shareholding in Fermlec giving the Ampcontrol Group a controlling interest in the company. In August 2009, the Ampcontrol Group became the sole owner of Fermlec Allenwest Wallacetown and reinforced its commitment to the business by changing the business name to Ampcontrol Africa (Pty) Ltd.
