Burn Brite, a Member of the Ampcontrol Group of Companies, is a successful specialist designer and manufacturer of portable and fixed industrial, hazardous area and mine lighting with over 55 years experience in research and development of lighting products for industrial applications.

To accommodate our continued growth we are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the design and documentation of new and existing Burn Brite products. Critical to this role will be your ability to develop and design products in line with new proposals, provide drafting assistance and guidance, ensure new products comply with the relevant standards as well as assist in preparation and submission of products for compliance testing.

As a qualified Mechanical Engineer you will have strong project management skills as well as a working knowledge of Solidworks 3D modelling and design package. Knowledge of hazardous area product certification and experience in lighting product design will be advantageous.
