Start your career with Ampcontrol

As part of Ampcontrol’s Graduate Program you will be given opportunities to develop your skills and gain experience on real world projects.

If you have completed or are in your final year of an Electrical, Computer, Telecommunications or Mechatronics Engineering degree then we want to hear from you. We have challenging opportunities for engineering graduates to apply and extend your skills, embrace new challenges and start you career.

Program overview:

To maximise your experience in our Graduate program you will be rotated through different divisions of the organisation, undertaking a variety of projects in a number of locations.

Our program offers:

  • Four placements over three years
  • Opportunities to manage your own projects
  • Mentoring and guidance from professional engineers
  • Participation in Engineers Australia’s Professional Development Program leading to attainment of chartered status (CPEng)
  • Exposure to leading edge R&D

Where will I work?
The program consists of four placements which will usually be centred around our Newcastle operations in Tomago and Cameron Park. You may have the opportunity to gain experience at one of Ampcontrol’s interstate and international operations during the program.

When would I start on the Graduate Program?

Graduates will normally commence in the second week of February.

Will I be offered an ongoing position at the completion of the program?
Ampcontrol invests in our graduate’s development and are keen to retain those who have completed the program. Employment opportunities will be discussed as you near completion of the program.

What is Ampcontrol looking for?

Leadership, initiative, innovation and application are typical trademarks of those who succeed within the program and take on senior positions within the business.

What will be my salary?
Our graduate’s receive a competitive salary benchmarked against industry standards.
