The Group offers both cable repair services and the sale and hire of cables.  A 24 hour cable repair and maintenance service utilising the latest technology and skills in cable management is available to carry out remedial action by highly trained and skilled teams.

The provision of a competitive cable leasing package for the construction, industrial and mining markets is available.  Cables can be supplied, fully tested, complete with plugs and terminations.  Delivery and installation can also be provided.

Applications

Brisbane Port
A 3.3kV rubber reeling cable supplying power to a wharf crane was accidentally cut in half.  Ampcontrol Cables NSW personnel were called in to splice the cable together and power was restored within a short period of time, minimising any major disruptions.

Sydney Electricity Supplier
High voltage cable terminations were carried out at a substation supplying a consumer’s premises. The11kV paper lead cables were connected as part of an upgrade.

South Australian Oil and Gas

A SA oil and gas site required HV terminations of paper lead, steel armoured and XLPE cable as well as 11kV site reticulation.  At short notice Ampcontrol Cables NSW personnel attended the scene of work complying to a very tight time schedule.
