Environment friendly dry type, gas pressurised transformers are non-explosive, non-polluting and require a minimum of maintenance with insulation levels equivalent to oil/liquid filled transformers. The hermetically sealed tank protects the core and coils from moisture, dust, explosive gases and corrosive atmospheres.

With over 6400m2 of floor space, our custom built facility based at Tomago NSW, offers in-house core slitting and cutting, coil winding ability to 10000kg, vacuum oven drying facilities, voltage withstand to 350kV, impulse testing to 1000kV and a large hard stand area.
The winding capabilities include horizontal winding machines and the capacity for two vertical winding machines.
The state of the art high voltage test bay includes 1000kV/75kJ impulse testing, while the routine test bay is equipped to perform tests up to 80MVA 132kV.
In addition, the facility has the capacity for oil storage, handling and filtering for 80,000 litres, coil winding up to 3 metres in length and 2 metres in diameter.

A complete transformer rewinding and general repair service is also available as an economical alternative to replacement. Refurbished transformers are fully tested, certified and covered by warranty.
