Double Break Rotary Isolator

The Ampcontrol double break rotary isolator has been type tested by a NATA approved testing authority and complies with Australian and International Standards AS1306.1995 and IEC 60129, amendments Part I and II.

The isolator is available in flat pack, or pre assembled formats.  The pre assembled option can reduce the amount of time required on-site and simplifies the switchgear installation.

The basic triple pole rotary isolator can be supplied with two 2900mm high galvanised steel support columns and can be padlocked in the on and off positions.  All isolators are supplied with a manual operating handle and linkages.  Operating shaft lengths can be customised to suit individual requirements and mounting options include utilising the support columns, pole mount or assembly onto a switchroom roof.

Optional equipment:

• Earth switches fitted for load and/or line side operation. Switches are interlocked to prevent simultaneous closing onto the isolator
• Stainless steel flicker blades fitted for installations allowing the breaking of low currents residual associated with system store energy, such as line charging currents in cables or overhead lines
• Motor operated open/closing mechanism
• Selectable operating mechanism positioning
