Description

• Single nut closure system to facilitate easy lamp access
• High impact strength & UV stabilised composite material mounting boss, nut & hinged mounting clamp
• An ‘o-ring’ seal between outercase & mounting boss for high seal integrity
• Simple plug-in gear chassis for easy maintenance
• Self-locating spring at the top of the light ensures that the plug remains engaged in the socket, even when mounted vertically
• Available in single TL or PL lamp configurations or LED arrays
• The lamps are controlled by either iron-cored or electronic ballasts.  Electronic ballasts offer long lamp life, wide operating voltage range & reduced line currents
• After assembly all cable & plug assemblies are tested for correct connection, continuity & insulation withstand strength at 1.5kV
• The secondary cable is 2 or 4-core 1.5 mm2 collectively screened type 2S machine cable
• When fitted at the factory, the secondary plug is filled with Dow® FLIT or equivalent plug encapsulate to prevent moisture migrating along the cable
• The FLP1 may also be fitted with a daisy-chain socket to enable another light to be connected
• A locking tab on the mounting plate prevents unauthorised disconnection of the light
