Burn Brite Non-Ferrous Gravity Die Casting Foundry

 With the acquisition of A&B Diecasting in 1984, Burn Brite now has over 20 years of experience in gravity die casting. High quality castings are manufactured for Burn Brite products and for external customers.

Burn Brite specialises in product and die design for a wide range of products including tiles and automotive components. Products manufactured for use in Burn Brite lights include aluminium collars for the FLP1 / FLP2 Hazardous area lights, aluminium handles for the portable range of SLA Hazardous area portable lights and cast aluminium junction boxes for the FLP2 light.

  • Product & die design - including fluid flow simulations

  • Heat treatment
  • Electric furnaces for precise control of metal temperature & minimisation of metal inclusions & oxidisation
  • PLC controlled Tilt Casting & static machines for maximum casting quality due to precise control of metal flow
  • Marine grade aluminium castings
  • Mines Department approved Zinc Alloy castings for use underground in gassy coal mines
  • Core design & manufacture utilising shell core process

 

Post processing

Burn Brite’s in-house CNC and conventional machining facilities in the Customised Manufacturing Department allow us to offer specialised machining of your cast components.  We can also manage any required finishing processes through our supply chain network of powder coaters, anodisers, polishers, etc.
