Description

The ‘FireAlert’ range of flame detectors are microprocessor based and designed to provide fast, reliable flame detection for a wide variety of applications. All detectors have adjustable sensitivity and time delay settings to increase performance, accuracy and speed.

There are four models of flame detector available:

• Ultra Violet
• Infrared single frequency
• UV and IR (combined)
• Infrared multi spectrum (IR3)

The units include an automatic and manual Visual Integrity (VI) capability which allows a continuous check of optical surfaces, sensitivity and electronic circuitry of the detector.  Each unit has been designed for long term reliability, simplified use and enhanced functionality, compared to conventional fire detection systems.

Austech technical staff are able to advise the appropriate detector for a particular application, matching sensing ability with perceived flame source to achieve accurate detection and eliminate false alarms.
