Ampcontrol has obtained IECEx certification for an explosion protected, hermetically sealed, nitrogen filled and pressurised mining transformer specifically designed for hazardous locations. This proven design has been manufactured by Ampcontrol for over thirty years and has now achieved certification complying with the relevant clauses of the explosion protection standards IEC 60079.0 and 60079.2 as well as core and coils complying to IEC 60076.11 and AS 2374.1.
