In support of Ampcontrol’s unified company direction, Scottish member company Allenwest Wallacetown and Sydney based Austech Instruments integrated into the Ampcontrol brand. The move was part of a greater strategic shift towards maximising the group’s resources on the world stage.

Austech Instruments, a member of the Ampcontrol group for nearly ten years, changed its name to Ampcontrol CSM as of 1 July 2011 and continues to develop and provide gas detection and environmental monitoring solutions across Australia and the world.

Allenwest Wallacetown officially became Ampcontrol UK Ltd trading as Ampcontrol Allenwest on 1 September 2011 after joining the group over four years previous. Combined with Ampcontrol’s reputed experience within the Australian mining sector, the rebrand made for a successful coming together of two iconic brands which will continue providing employment opportunities within the local community.
