Ampcontrol increased its interest in the African region by acquiring full ownership of the Johannesburg based operation. With a name change to Ampcontrol Africa, this investment signifies Ampcontrol’s commitment to the African market.

Formerly known as Fermlec Allenwest Wallacetown, Ampcontrol Africa plans to invest capital to expand the operation’s manufacturing capabilities as it acts as the main point of sale for all Ampcontrol products across the African continent.

With a focus on the supply of mine safety equipment, Ampcontrol has the experience and technology to deliver market leading products to South Africa’s mineral rich mining regions.
