Ampcontrol celebrated 40 years of service in its strongest position ever.

The Group, which includes eight member companies, has grown to be an international supplier of electrical and electronic products to the power, energy and mining markets. It operates from 18 sites around Australia as well as sites in China, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The dedication and abilities of Ampcontrol’s staff to identify and meet customers’ needs as well as Ampcontrol’s vertically integrated operations have contributed greatly to its success.

The enormous growth of the past 12 months was recognised. The number of employees increased by almost 40%, from 575 in January 2007 to more than 800. One in 23 employees work directly in research and development, demonstrating the importance Ampcontrol places on technology and delivering an even brighter future for the Group and its customers.
