Ampcontrol Technical Director and Co-Founder, Peter Cockbain, was named as the 2006 National President of Engineers Australia.

Peter has been the Technical Director of Ampcontrol since its foundation in 1968.  He is a member of the University of Newcastle Engineering Faculty Advisory Board as well as the Engineers Australia representative on the Prime Minister’s Science, Engineering and Innovation Council, the Business Higher Education Round Table and Senator Kim Carr’s Future Manufacturing Industry Innovation Council.
