Ampcontrol and The University of Newcastle established research company, ResTech.

ResTech combines the skills, competencies, knowledge and diversity of an industry leader with the intellectual vitality and expertise of a university to provide enhanced research and development capabilities in power and systems engineering, power and industrial electronics, as well as green technology.  It demonstrates an ongoing commitment to innovation and research. The venture assists the University’s School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science to maintain excellence in its core disciplines through support for undergraduate programs, post graduate funded projects and a professorial chair in power engineering. ResTech is recognised as a Registered Research Agency (RRA) by the Department of Industry Tourism and Resources (AusIndustry).
