Alan Broadfoot’s appointment as Group General Manager marked a change in leadership for the company and provided a new outlook for senior management on the way Ampcontrol should do business. Alan joined the company as Engineering Manager of Ampcontrol SWG in 1991 and was promoted to be that company’s General Manager in 1996. In 2005 he was named CEO and Managing Director for the Ampcontrol Group of Companies. In December of that year he was given the honour of National Professional Engineer of the Year.
